The airline allows dogs and cats in the cabin

There’s definitely no such thing as getting away from it all, but that doesn’t mean we want to get away from it all. Those of us who have pets want nothing more than to have them with us as we enjoy our little moments.

Taking our pets with us when we travel is now becoming easier, as a major commercial airline has announced future plans for customers to take their pets with them. Virgin Airlines is trying to do this and could start next year.

If Virgin Airlines achieves this, it will be the first airline in Australia to allow pets in the cabin during departure. The airline announced this in a press release titled ‘Cat in the Bag’.

They want to be the first airline in the country to travel with pets. After looking at a 2021 survey, they liked the idea. In this survey, 85% of respondents agreed that pets should be allowed in bars.

also say they would like to fly more often if it was possible to take a pet with them. They will join several other North American airlines that already offer service on domestic flights.

CEO Jayne Hrdlicka said: “Our passion for animals is in Virgin Australia’s DNA and we’re thrilled to bring Australia’s first pets into the cabin.

“Our guests are increasingly expressing their desire to travel with their pets, and we are setting out to make this possible. This is a common practice abroad and has been proven to work.

They do not travel for free during the flight as there is also an official carrier available to use. Financing will be offered to those who qualify, but costs have not yet been determined.

Many people had problems with the service after shipment. This also applies if someone has allergies: can they tell if a dog or cat is sitting next to them?

Virgin Atlantic responded: “It is very important to us that there is minimal impact on guests who do not bring pets. That is why we will be preparing a better offer with stricter rules in the coming months. Don’t worry; everything will be taken care of!”
