 Caramel Pecan Brownies


Serves 12-15

  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 bag (11 ounces) KRAFT Caramel Pieces
  • 1/ 3 cup half and half
  • 2/3 cup finely chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9×13 pan with cooking spray.Set aside

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until well blended. Spread evenly in the coated pan and bake for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over low heat, cut and halve the caramel pieces until completely melted and incorporated (about 2-3 minutes).

Spread the melted caramel over the half-baked brownies and top with the pecans.Place back in the oven for another 15 minutes.


Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares
