Tomato mozzarella salad in a bowl with balsamic vinegar dressing
This tomato mozzarella salad is inspired by the Caprese salad. It has fresh tomatoes, cucumber, avocado and mozzarella cheese blended with balsamic sauce.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes to chop
3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
240 ml fresh mozzarella balls or 1 cup grated fresh mozzarella
1 large avocado, pitted
1/3 cup leaves, chopped
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 garlic clove, peeled and pressed or minced
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt and more to taste
1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper

Instructions
Place the potatoes, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, avocado and basil in a serving bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper until combined.
