Million Dollar Chicken Casserole 🍗🧀

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Oven Prep: Begin preheating of the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

2️⃣ Mix the filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper if desired.Stir until everything is well mixed.

3️⃣ Fill the dish: Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth it into an even layer.

4️⃣ Prepare the topping: In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter until the mixture is well coated.

5️⃣ Add the topping: Sprinkle the buttered biscuit mixture evenly over the chicken layer in the baking dish.

6️⃣ Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole begins to bubble around the edges and the topping turns a delicious golden color.7️⃣ Let cool and serve: After baking, take the casserole out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes so that it can cool down a little. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
