Pelphrey paid tribute to his best friend on his personal website. He wrote that he saw Blue on Christmas Eve 2018 and that the dog was taken and returned at least three times; He was kept in a cage and was considered too “violent” to be homeless. But Pelphrey was willing to do the work and knew he could give Blue a home. With patience, practice and “lots of love” he helped Blue overcome his moral issues.
