Easy Easy Chili Pineapple Sauce

 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup 1 fresh pineapple, finely chopped
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons corn
2 tablespoons water (added to the corn), 1/2 cup water, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Boil the mixture. Recipe: Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until pineapple is soft.
Chicken Sauce: In a small bowl, dissolve the corn in 2 tablespoons of water and turn it into a paste. Use this sauce in hot sauce.
Spice: Add chili pepper and salt to the sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
Cooling: Remove the sauce from the stove and let it cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
NOTE
Adjust the amount of pepper to increase or decrease the heat level.
Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
