Cheeseburger soup 

 

Ingredients:

1 kilo of ground meat
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups of chicken
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of heavy
2 cups of cheddar cheese,
1 cup carrots, peeled
1 cup celery, peeled
3 cups potatoes, per cup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup cream
3 tablespoons whole flour
2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation:

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the beef, onion and garlic. Cook until the meat begins to brown and the onion is translucent. Add
Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add the chicken broth, milk and cream, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth.
Add carrots, celery, potatoes, salt, black pepper and red pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Reduce the temperature. Mix the cheddar cheese until it melts and becomes smooth. Remove from heat, add the cream and mix.
Serve hot, garnished with cheese or chopped parsley.
