2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
2 cups chopped apples (peeled and cored)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for streusel)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for streusel)
1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon (for sprinkles)
Optional: powdered sugar for dusting



Directions: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.Put aside.
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy: In a large bowl, beat the soft butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla extract.

Mix dry and wet ingredients: Alternately add dry flour mixture and milk to the wet ingredients and stir until everything is well mixed. Avoid overmixing.Add the diced apples.
Prepare streusel topping: Mix brown sugar, 1/4 cup flour, melted butter and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl until crumbly.
Assembly: Pour half of the dough into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the streusel on top. Repeat with remaining dough and topping.Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 to 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
