Keto Bacon Cheeseburger for less than 7 net carbs! This low carb burger recipe can be made on the grill, in a skillet, or in an air fryer!

 

 Ingredients

Chaffle Buns:

3 large eggs

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup almond flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

For the burgers:

80/20 ground beef

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons ground beef garlic

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Ingredients for burgers:

3 slices cheese (any variety)

6 slices thick-cut bacon

6 leaves romaine or iceberg lettuce

3 slices tomato

1/8 cups red Onions, thinly sliced ​​

 For chaffle rolls:

Mix eggs, grated cheese, almond flour and baking powder in a  bowl until a thick dough forms.

Heat a mini waffle iron according to instructions. Pour the batter into the waffle iron (just under 1/4 cup), being careful not to overfill (the recipe makes 6 waffles).Bake the waffles for about 3 minutes or until no more steam comes out.

 For the burgers:

Mix the beef, sauce, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl until the spices are well mixed. Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions.

Use a burger press or place the burgers between baking paper and flatten until they are about 1cm thick.

Season the outside of the burger with additional salt and pepper (or seasoned salt).To grill a hamburger:

Heat a grill to high heat (400 degrees F). Place  prepared burgers directly on clean, preheated grill grates. Cook for 4 minutes, turn and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Check if the burger is cooked, add cheese and remove from  grill.

To cook a hamburger in a cast iron skillet:

Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.When the pan is hot, add 1 tablespoon salted butter and tilt the pan so the butter covers the bottom. Add the prepared burgers to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Then flip them over when the burger is nicely browned on the bottom. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until  desired tenderness is achieved. Add the cheese
