**Ingredients:**

– 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tsp lemon juice
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– 1/4 cup powdered sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– Fresh strawberries for garnish
– Whipped cream for garnish

**Instructions:**

1. **Prepare Strawberry Puree:**
– In a blender or food processor, combine the fresh strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
– Strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds and set aside.
