  • 1 ½ pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper Note: Some brands may be too salty, so taste and adjust accordingly
  • 1 ½ teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 1 minced garlic clove or ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh thyme and parsley optional for garnish
  • Kosher salt and fresh black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

 For the oven-only method:

  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder



  1. Start by drying the chicken wings with paper towels.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F.3. If using an oven, toss the wings with flour and baking powder and let them cool in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, lemon pepper, lemon zest and garlic.
