Ingredients:

• For the Cake:
• 1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained
• Maraschino cherries (optional)
• For the Glaze:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tablespoons pineapple juice

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Pan:
• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
• Generously grease a bundt cake pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
2. Make the Topping:
• Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the bundt pan.
• Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the butter.
3. Arrange the Pineapple:
• Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar mixture. If desired, place maraschino cherries in the centers of the pineapple slices.
4. Prepare the Cake Batter:
• In a large bowl, prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.
5. Combine and Bake:
• Pour the cake batter evenly over the pineapple slices in the bundt pan.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and Invert:
• Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
• Place a serving plate upside down over the bundt pan and carefully invert the pan and plate together. Remove the pan.
7. Prepare the Glaze:
• In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and pineapple juice until smooth.
• Drizzle the glaze over the top of the cake.
8. Serve:
• Let the glaze set for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
