Substituting beef for traditional ground beef and putting it all in the slow cooker creates a simpler, more flavorful meal that’s perfect for days when you’re on the go. And a big plate of chow mein is the most satisfying thing of all time. When you combine the two, you get a meal that’s easy to prepare, full of flavor, and sure to please everyone in your family.
This recipe is enough on its own, but if you want more, serve with steamed rice so the rice can absorb the delicious sauce. It makes a great side dish, a cold salad would be great to cut the heat of the main course. For example, sesame seeds or fried green onions can bring out the full flavor.

Slow Cooker Mongolian Ground Beef Mein, Serves 6
