High school coach fired for praying with players wins $1.7 million

The Bremerton School District in Washington state has agreed to accept an award that would give former coach Joseph Kennedy the same amount plus $1,775,000.

Kennedy has been approved to return to Bremerton High School as an assistant football coach in 2023.

According to the district, Kennedy will also earn $5,304 for his time in the 2023 football league. The school community is eager to put this almost eight-year struggle behind them so they can focus on what matters most: our students. The best education possible, said school board president Alyson Rotter.

The coach who was kicked out of the family received two beautiful messages. The first is the agreed fee.
He experienced his first draw in June, when the Supreme Court ruled in his favor by a vote of 6-3.
