Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 slices of thick bread
  • Butter for frying
  • Maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  4. Cook the bread slices on the skillet until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries.
