Crispy egg rolls filled with seasoned pork, cabbage, and carrots are a fabulous side dish to serve alongside stir-fry dishes. These homemade egg rolls are almost identical to what you’d get at a Chinese restaurant! Serve warm with egg roll sauce or soy sauce if desired.

  1. 1 pound ground pork
  2. 1 teaspoon ground ginger, or more to taste
  3. 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or more to taste
  4. 2 cups shredded cabbage
  5. 2 ounces shredded carrots
  6. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  7. 2 tablespoons water
  8. 1 quart peanut oil for frying, or as needed
  9. 8 (7 inch square) egg roll wrappers
  10. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (Optional)
