It is very difficult to describe our feelings when we hear that we will become parents for the first time. Most of us are excited about becoming parents, whether we are expecting a baby or not. The first thing that comes to mind is, of course, hope. Maybe we draw a picture of our child’s face or a lesson or experience we want to share with him or her. Most of us imagine what it would be like to hold it in our hands for the first time.

Unfortunately, not all pregnancies end as happily as most of us think. Living in Phoenix, Arizona, Carlos Morales is a great example of the lifestyle.

Erica Morales and Carlos seemed like good guys. Despite the language barrier (Carlos does not speak English and Erica does not speak Spanish), the couple began dating in 2006 after meeting at a nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona. They were clearly close.

Rumor has it that Carlos and Erica danced a lot on their first night together. Carlos writes his phone number on a piece of paper and gives it to Erica, telling her to do whatever she wants after the nightclub closes.

After their wedding in Las Vegas in 2007, the couple tried to start a family.

Abortion marked the disastrous end of their first attempt. However, thanks to fertility treatment, Erica became pregnant again and this time the couple encountered a big surprise.

Doctors told Erica during her first ultrasound that she was expecting four children!

In a few months, Carlos and Erica will be ready to have four children. Erica had not given birth to four children early, so Carlos was doing his best to care for her while doing household chores such as cleaning and cooking.

Aired Sunday, March 1, 2015 by ABC15 Arizona.On January 12, 2015, Erica was hospitalized for high blood pressure. Before leaving, She wrote a letter to Carlos and said that the doctors wanted to deliver the baby immediately because he was in constant pain.

Erica and Carlos took photos and videos to keep as memories for the future when Carlos got there. Before Erica entered the delivery room, Carlos was seen kissing his wife on the head and saying, “Let’s get these babies out together.”

Little did he know the far-reaching consequences of that day.

Carlos said that a cesarean section was used to give birth to Erica and Erica’s four-legged friends, three girls and a boy.

“We are so happy to start our family,” Carlo said, according to Yahoo. “Then everything falls apart.”

Tragically, shortly after birth, Erica suffered hypovolemic shock, a condition characterized by extreme blood loss and dehydration.

While Carlos was sitting by his wife’s bedside, the nurses rushed in when the alarm went off. The new father was told to wait outside while his wife attended to doctors. An hour later the doctor came and told Carlos that Erica was dead.

Carlos Morales and his family have won the hearts of Americans since the tragic death of his wife. “We are them.”

“How is this possible?” He asked. One minute it was going well, the next it wasn’t. He was here, breathing, and then he was gone. After having the best day of my life, the next day was the worst. My wife died shortly after the birth of my four children.

As a result of a conversation between Carlos and his late wife, their three children were named Carlos Jr., Paisley and Tracey. The third daughter was named ‘Erica’.

On January 16, 2015, a heartbroken father was allowed to take his two children to the hospital. Both were allowed to go home on March 11.

Even though Carlos felt great loss and sadness for the person he loved, he knew that he had to be with his children. Four mothers attended the childcare workshop, where they learned how to bathe their babies, give them food when they are hungry, and manage their sleep patterns. She also completed CPR training.

Erica’s mother, Sondra Bridges, moved in with Carlos to help him care for her grandson.

“It’s funny how things turned out this way,” Sondra said. “It’s so sweet, but amazing because of the love of God and people,” she said. I want to thank you all. We appreciate all your help.
