Air-fried chicken legs

 

Air-fried chicken legs are wonderfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Here’s an easy recipe to make:

 Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Your favorite seasonings (optional)

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer Heat to 190°C (375°F) for about 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.This ensures crispy skin.
  3. Rub the chicken thighs with olive oil and coat evenly. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and other seasonings of your choice, such as: E.g. garlic powder, paprika or Italian seasoning.

4.Once the air fryer is preheated, place the chicken thighs, skin side down, in the air fryer basket.

  1. Cook chicken thighs in the hot air fryer for 12-15 minutes at 190°C.
  2. Once the first side is done, flip the chicken thighs and cook for another 12 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.1. Once the chicken thighs are cooked  and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  3. Serve air-fried chicken thighs hot with your favorite side dishes such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
