 Ingredients:

6 fresh red chili peppers, coarsely chopped

2  garlic cloves, chopped

1 white onion, cut into large cubes

2 cups granulated sugar

1/3 cup white wine vinegar

1/2 cup water

Juice of one lime

 Instructions:

1.Sterilize  jars.

  1. Finely chop the chili, onion, garlic and water in a food processor.
  2. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.Add sugar, vinegar and lime juice. Mix well and cook over low heat for 1 hour.
  3. After 1 hour, stir well and place the slow cooker on high heat. Let cook for another 2 hours.Place a tea towel under the lid for the last hour.
  4. To check if the jam is ready, place a teaspoon of jam on a cold saucer and let it freeze for 1 minute. If it is firm and firm, the jam is ready. If it’s not quite ready, cook over high heat for another 30 minutes.6. Pour the jam into the prepared jars. Seal the jars and allow them to cool completely to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.

Store unopened jars in a cupboard for up to 6 months.
