Ingredients:

 

**For the Cake:**
– 2 cups digestive biscuits or tea biscuits, broken into small pieces
– 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

**For the Topping:**
– 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
– 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted
– 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts)

Instructions:

 

1. **Prepare the Cake Base:**
– Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
– Place the broken biscuit pieces in a large mixing bowl.

2. **Make the Chocolate Mixture:**
– In a medium saucepan, combine the dark chocolate, unsalted butter, heavy cream, and granulated sugar.
– Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate and butter are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
– Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

3. **Assemble the Cake:**
– Pour the chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits in the mixing bowl.
– Mix well until all the biscuit pieces are evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.
– Transfer the mixture to the prepared springform pan and press it down firmly to create an even layer.
– Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the cake is set.

4. **Prepare the Topping:**
– In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining dark chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
– Pour the melted dark chocolate over the chilled biscuit cake and spread it evenly with a spatula.

– Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer in a spiral or zigzag pattern.
– Use a toothpick or skewer to create a marbled effect by dragging it through the white chocolate.

6. **Chill and Serve:**
– Return the cake to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate topping is set.
– Remove the cake from the springform pan and transfer it to a serving plate.
