Ingredients:

For the Cake:

• 1 box white cake mix
• Ingredients listed on the cake mix box (typically eggs, oil, and water)
• 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple (with juice)

For the Frosting:

• 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3-4 cups powdered sugar (to taste)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans (for topping)
• Whole pecans (for decoration)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Cake:
• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
• Prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions.

• Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
• Bake according to the package instructions, typically 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
• While the cake is still hot, poke holes all over the top with a fork or skewer. Pour the crushed pineapple with its juice evenly over the hot cake. Allow it to cool completely.
2. Make the Frosting:

• In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
