Dorito Taco Salad

This Dorito Taco Salad is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that will send your taste buds doing some baking flips.

The perfect salad for a potluck or party! This Dorito Taco Salad is always a hit wherever I take it, and we’ve been serving it my entire life. It’s packed with ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and nacho cheese Doritos for the perfect crunch!

It’s not summer until you make a Dorito Taco Salad!It is the best salad recipe for summer, perfect for parties, backyard barbecues, or you can simply eat it as lunch or dinner.

This salad is originally from my mother, so we know it’s delicious. Plus, every time I take it somewhere, one of the first salads disappears!

 Ingredients

o 1 large bag of Dorito Nacho Cheese Chips, broken into smaller pieces but not crumbled

o 1 pound lean ground beef

o 1 package taco seasoning

o 1 red onion, diced

o 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

o 1  lettuce, shredded

o 6  chopped tomatoes

o ½ cup Italian dressing

o 2 cups ranch dressing

Making Dorito Taco Salad

Crumble into a skillet  and brown  lean ground beef. Drain any excess fat from the pan when you are finished cooking.

Taco Seasoning Mix Package.Add both the Italian dressing and ranch dressing, stir  and simmer until the liquid is absorbed.  Chop up  the lettuce and put it in a bowl. Chop the tomatoes and put them in another bowl.  Cut the onion into cubes and place in  a third bowl. Place the cheese in a large bowl.

Instead of putting the final ingredients in bowls, you can also mix everything with the meat.

By putting the ingredients in separate bowls, everyone can add whatever they want to  the salad. If there are any  ingredients left over, they can be packed separately in the refrigerator.Enjoy
