Replicating KFC’s traditional fried chicken at home can be a delicious project! Although the ’11 Herbs and Spices’ recipe is a closely guarded secret, you can make a delicious, easy-roast chicken with natural herbs and buttermilk marinade. Maintain oil temperature between 300°F and 325°F (149°C – 163°C) when frying. If it is too high, the lid will burn before the inside is cooked; If it’s too low, the chicken will absorb too much fat and turn it into fat.
Remove and do:
Use tongs to remove the chicken from the oil and transfer it to a cooling rack placed on a baking sheet to dry the chicken.
Before serving the chicken, let it rest for a few minutes to reduce the water.
Tips:
